How do you post?

Video creator · YouTube long-form, Vimeo

The easiest first post

Add a 30 to 60 second sponsored mention to a video you were already making, with your link in the description.

Formats that work

  • A 30 to 60 second mid-roll
  • A full dedicated video
  • A description link and pinned comment
  • An end card

Tips from the format

  • Put the link in the first two lines of the description, above the fold.
  • Pin a comment with the link; many viewers never open the description.
  • Show the scan on screen, even for a few seconds. It makes the problem concrete.

The short version

Data brokers collect and sell personal information: names, addresses, phone numbers, relatives. NexSec finds what’s listed about a person across brokers and the open web, and files the removal requests. The scan is free, so your audience can see what exists before they decide anything. That’s the whole pitch.

Starting points

30-second mention

Fits inside a video you were already making. Change every word.

This video is sponsored by NexSec. Data brokers collect and sell your name, address and phone number, and most people have never checked what's listed about them. NexSec scans for your information and files the removal requests for you. The scan is free. My link is in the description.

60-second read

Problem first, product second. That order matters more than any wording.

Here's something I'd never looked up until recently: what data brokers have on me. These are companies that gather your name, home address, phone number and relatives, and sell it. It's how scammers and cold callers find people, and it's legal. NexSec, who are sponsoring this video, scan data brokers and open-web sources for records that match you, show you what they found, and send the removal requests. You can run the scan for free and see what's out there before deciding anything. I ran it on myself. [Say, honestly, what you found and how you felt about it.] If you want to check yours, the link is in the description. This is a sponsored mention.

Description and pinned comment

Sponsored by NexSec. Check what data brokers have listed about you (the scan is free): [your link]

The one-sentence version

Useful anywhere you only get a line.

Sponsored: NexSec finds what data brokers list about you (name, address, phone number) and files the removal requests. The scan is free: [your link]

Your own story, as a template

The strongest promotions are first-hand. Fill in the brackets honestly.

I'd never looked up what data brokers had on me until [when]. I ran NexSec's free scan and found [what turned up]. [How it felt, or what you did about it.] If you want to check yours, it's free: [your link] (sponsored)

Images you can use

Free to use in your promotion. The example scan card is illustrative; swap in a screenshot of your own scan if you’d rather show real results. Keep the sponsorship disclosed.

Angles that tend to hold up

Pick one that fits what you already make.

  • I looked myself up the way a scammer would
  • What a data broker knows about you, and how it got there
  • A privacy audit of my own online footprint
  • What happens after a data breach, in plain English
  • Why your phone number gets spam calls (and what to do about it)
  • Doxxing prevention for streamers: the part nobody sets up

Safe to say

  • NexSec scans data brokers and open-web sources for records that match you.
  • It sends removal requests on your behalf, and tracks them as brokers respond.
  • The scan is free.
  • Having your details listed makes you easier to find for scammers, spam callers and people who want to harass you.
  • Your own experience: what you searched, what you found, what you did about it.

Please don’t say

  • ×That removal is guaranteed or permanent. Brokers can re-list data and responses vary.
  • ×That NexSec makes you anonymous or "invisible". It reduces exposure; it doesn’t erase you.
  • ×Specific numbers we haven’t given you (how many brokers, how many people use it).
  • ×Fear-based urgency ("you are being hacked right now"). The honest version is more persuasive.
  • ×That NexSec endorses you or your channel beyond this sponsorship.

Disclosure

Mark every promotion as sponsored, clearly and where people will see it: said out loud in video and stream, and written as “sponsored” or “#ad” at the start of descriptions and posts. It’s a legal requirement in most places, and it’s also what keeps your audience’s trust, which is worth more than any one sponsorship.

Questions your audience will ask

Is the scan really free?

Yes. You can see what turns up before paying for anything.

What does it do with my information?

It uses the name and location you provide to search for matching records and to file removal requests. Point people to the privacy policy for specifics.

Will it remove everything?

No tool can promise that. It removes what brokers agree to remove and keeps checking; some will re-list over time.

Why should I trust a sponsored video?

You shouldn’t take anyone’s word for it. Run the free scan yourself and judge what it shows you.

Partner levels
